Being oneself is what most people can’t do. Firstly, you need to be honest with yourself in accepting who you are. This requires courage. If you go against the group, they’ll slaughter you. An open relationship is about divining truth. Only then can you practice it on another. To conform is to admit that the real you is the wrong you: where you consciously decide to destroy the “imperfect” being in order to recreate a “better” person. Impossible! No mirror was ever modelled out of clay.
